My name is Irasema Reza Bailey aka Iris. I have been a massage therapist and body-worker for 13 years with focus on pregnant women and the postpartum period. Which naturally lead me to doula work. I have been a practicing doula for 9 years. In my desire to promote Mexican Traditional Medicine, I have had the privilege to work with elders in our community as well as from Mexico. I have compiled the knowledge I have gained and put together this workshop. I’m also incorporating the knowledge I have gained while following the Mexica (Aztec) tradition. I do this in hope to keep traditions alive and promote Mexican Traditional Medicine, while acknowledging the ancestors.
This is for GALS and Mama Sana volunteers ONLY
